Aquila Device for online diagnostics and monitoring of partial discharges - Techimp - Altanova group
The device is designed for online diagnostics of partial discharges in substation electrical equipment. Partial discharge measurement is one of the most advanced methods for diagnosing insulation. Using online diagnostics allows you to avoid taking equipment out of operation and, accordingly, reduce downtime. The device for online diagnostics and monitoring of partial discharges produced by Techimp (Italy) is designed to diagnose the insulation condition of electrical equipment of a substation without taking it out of operation.
Areas of use:
- Cable lines
- Electric generators and engines
- Power and instrument transformers
- GIS
- Assessment of power line pollution
To evaluate the result obtained, the patented Techimp TF-Map technology is used. Unlike traditional PD evaluation methods, it allows you to divide the received signals into groups for more convenient analysis. The device allows you to accurately determine the type and source of the desired PD signal, even in the presence of strong interference.
AQUILA is powered by mains power and built-in batteries, making it suitable for field measurements and as a substation monitoring system. In online monitoring mode, the device operates on batteries for up to 8 hours and can be used as a power supply and charging laptops.
The instrument comes with data acquisition software that contains all the necessary functions to control the instrument, set parameters to collect and visualize a PD data set, and obtain fast results. The software is installed on a built-in 11-inch tablet for ease of use.
