CableScan-40P Mobile installation for detecting damage to power cables - GC "Energoscan"
CableScan-40P is a mobile portable unit for identifying fault locations in medium voltage cables using non-burning methods: pulse reflectometry (TDR), pulse-arc method (ARC), multi-pulse-arc method (up to 10 reflectograms per discharge) (ARM), oscillatory discharge method current (ICM), oscillatory voltage discharge method (DECAY).The mobile installation CableScan-40P (Portable), manufactured by Energoscan LLC, is designed for preliminary determination of the location of damage (DMP) of cables using relative non-burning methods (pulse reflectometry, pulse-arc, oscillatory discharge methods) and for accurately determining the location of damage using absolute (acoustic and acoustic-electromagnetic) methods.
The system allows you to carry out damage control of cables with both different types of insulation (oil-paper, cross-linked polyethylene, plastic insulation, etc.) and with different types of damage (high- and low-resistance damage, breaks, short circuits, intermittent breakdowns, etc. .).
The system integrates a high-voltage pulse generator, a pulse-arc sensor, a Reis-305 three-phase reflectometer and a CSL-10 search kit. Optionally, the system can be equipped with oscillatory discharge sensors for current and voltage, as well as an induction and path-search kit CST-15 to implement the induction and potential method of precise cable OMF.
Possibilities:
- Preliminary WMD:
- pulse reflectometry (TDR),
- pulse-arc method (ARC),
- multi-pulse-arc method (up to 10 reflectograms per discharge) (ARM),
- oscillatory current discharge method (ICM),
- voltage oscillatory discharge method (DECAY).
2. Precise cable OMF using acoustic and acoustic-electromagnetic methods (10/20/40 kV, 2000 J).
3. Precise cable OMP using the induction method (optional).
4. Precise cable OMP by potential method (optional).
Advantages
- High pulse energy (2000/3000 J).
- Three voltage levels (10 kV / 20 kV / 40 kV).
- Automated stage switching.
- Intuitive controls.
- Safety – automatic discharge of accumulated capacity.
- Non-burning methods of preliminary WMD.
- Insulated high voltage cable for connection.
