CableScan mini portable kit for locating cable faults - GC "Energoscan"
CableScan-Mini is a set of devices for determining the location of fault (LP) of power cables of all types of insulation using modern non-burning methods.CableScan Portable Kit Mini is designed both for preliminary determination of the location of damage (DPL) of cables using non-burning methods (TDR, ARC, ICM, Decay), and for precise PDL using the acoustic (acoustic-electromagnetic) method. Most damage to cable lines is detected using non-burning methods.
The system allows you to produce OMF of power cables with different types of insulation (oil-paper, cross-linked polyethylene, plastic insulation, etc.) and different types of damage (low- and high-resistance damage, breaks, short circuits, intermittent breakdowns, etc.).
The CableScan Mini instrument set is compact and weighs no more than 50 kg. No special transport is required to transport it; it can even fit in the trunk of a car.
Advantages
1. Portability - the kit can be transported by one specialist,
2. Compactness - the entire set can be transported in a passenger car, all-terrain vehicle, or snowmobile,
3. Work in hard-to-reach places - the kit can be used where a mobile laboratory cannot pass: tunnels, remote fields, reactor plants in large buildings, etc.,
4. Efficiency - the kit includes all modern methods for preliminary and accurate determination of fault locations in cable lines,
5. Versatility - each device in the kit is an independent device and can be used separately.
Possibilities
- Accurate cable OMF using the acoustic (acoustic-electromagnetic) method (up to 32 kV, up to 2 kJ).
- Testing cable insulation with voltage up to 36 kV.
- Testing of cable sheath with voltage up to 10 kV.
- Preliminary localization of the damage site using the following methods:
- pulse reflectometry (TDR);
- pulse-arc (ARC);
- oscillatory current discharge (ICM)
- oscillatory voltage discharge (DECAY) (optional).
