The use of modern technologies and solutions makes it possible to carry out weapons of mass destruction as quickly, accurately and comfortably as possible.
The kit consists of three main elements: a ground microphone, a control module and over-ear headphones with good sound insulation.
The ground microphone has built-in acoustic and electromagnetic sensors that capture signals and transmit them to the control module. The microphone body is made of special materials to ensure the best quality of isolation from surrounding sound interference. The folding handle allows you to transport the set in a special case.
The control module receives signals from the ground microphone, processes the data, displays it on the display and transmits the acoustic signal to the on-ear headphones.
Modern noise suppression technology allows you to output clear cable discharge sound to headphones without interference, even in cities, industrial areas or transport infrastructures.
The control module is equipped with a large color display of high brightness and contrast for daytime operation in bright sunshine. Intuitive menus and navigation in the built-in software allow you to quickly learn it and easily work with the control module.
Built-in rechargeable batteries allow you to work with the receiver for up to 9 hours without recharging. Also, to conserve battery power, the receiver has a built-in automatic shutdown function when inactive for 5 minutes.
Peculiarities
- noise suppression function and the ability to configure the acoustic channel filter,
- compass function to display the angle between the direction of the cable and the direction of the arrow of the ground microphone,
- automatic signal amplification function,
- over-ear headphones with good sound insulation,
- color LCD display with brightness up to 800 cd/m2 (allows you to work in bright sunlight),
- automatic shutdown system when inactive for 5 minutes,
- built-in lithium-ion battery,
- folding handle for transportation.
Applied technologies
A “smart” interference and noise suppression system will allow you to hear only the useful signal from the damage site, which is extremely important in case of weapons of mass destruction at production sites and in the city.
Automatic mute system when touching the handle of the ground microphone. This technology protects the operator's hearing from the harsh noises, clicks and pops that can occur when moving a ground microphone
Compass function to display the angle between the direction of the cable and the direction of the arrow of the ground microphone. This technology allows you to always remain above the cable or return to the cable in case of deviation while moving along it.
The function of displaying the distance to the location of damage on the receiver display when using the acoustic-electromagnetic method.
Methods used
The acoustic method of precise OMP cable is implemented by combining a high-voltage pulse generator and an acoustic receiver. Allows you to detect damage of various types (“floating breakdowns”, single-phase and interphase damage with different transition resistances, breaks). The operator, moving along the cable route, finds the point with the maximum signal, which is located directly above the damage site.
Note: faults with low transient resistance (closed circuits) do not produce a spark discharge and cannot be determined using this method.
The acoustic-electromagnetic method consists of recording the time difference between the arrival of signals from the breakdown site - electromagnetic (the signal travels almost at the speed of light) and acoustic (the signal travels at the speed of sound), which allows you to estimate the distance to the damage site.
