Low Profile SAW Temperature Sensor - IntelliSAW
Wireless temperature sensor with “SAW” technology included in the IntelliSAW continuous monitoring system for medium voltage equipment.IntelliSAW temperature sensors are passive temperature sensors that can be installed directly on a live part that is energized. The IntelliSAW monitoring system is an ideal solution for continuous, real-time monitoring of potential hot spots in medium voltage equipment (e.g. busbars and conductors, breaker contacts and cables).
Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) technology has enabled the implementation of a completely wireless passive (no power required) continuous temperature monitoring sensor. SAW sensors have been specifically designed for power utility applications with basic insulation levels (BIL) up to 185 kV.
