GVI-32/3000 High-voltage pulse generator - GC "Energoscan"
The high-voltage pulse generator GVI-32/3 ENSK is designed for preliminary search for cable damage. Maximum voltage 32 kV. Pulse strength 3000 J. Used with a microphone to accurately determine the location of cable damage. The GVI-32/3 ENSK high-voltage pulse generator is designed to search for damage to cable lines laid in the ground using the acoustic method. The GVI-32 generator supplies voltage to the cable with a sequence of short pulses of high power and all the pulse energy comes out at the point where the cable insulation is damaged, producing a loud bang. Using a universal receiver (Digiphone+, Protrac, PP-500K) you can find the exact location of the damage.
The GVI-32/3 ENSK installation can also be used for preliminary determination of cable damage using the pulse-arc method. In this case, they are used as devices for burning damage in a short-term mode, or can be used in conjunction with a reflectometer (Reis-305, Reis-405, RI-407, STELL-4500) and an IDM unit as part of the SCAN-1 electrical laboratory.
The GVI-32/3 ENSK unit is used as part of a mobile laboratory and is not a portable testing device.
