Matrice 300 RTK Industrial quadcopter - DJI
The most modern drone today is the latest development from DJI. And this is a drone called Matrice 300 RTK. The obstacle detection system has been improved, the drone now detects objects in six directions, the sensors can see at a distance of up to 40 m. Communication with the drone at a distance of up to 15 km and transmission of images in HD 1080p resolution. The drone body has IP45 protection, which allows it to fly in rain and snow. Powerful engines with 17-inch propellers ensure a stable board position even when flying in strong winds.
Especially for the Matrice 300 RTK, DJI has developed a series of camera gimbals called the H20. Camera H20 with three sensors and H20T with four. The H20 gimbal housing houses three types of payload simultaneously:
- A camera with zoom allows visual inspection of industrial facilities from a great distance. This is especially important for inspecting power lines, since according to safety regulations it is strictly forbidden to get close to supports and live parts of the structure.
- A laser rangefinder is necessary to obtain the exact coordinates of an object or to “capture” and track targets. For example, people or cars.
- The wide-angle camera is used to create beautiful panoramic photographs and orthophotos.
In the H20T modification, a thermal imaging camera is added to the three above sensors; it is used for thermal imaging inspection, search and rescue.
Excellent artificial intelligence, thanks to which the functionality of the drone becomes even wider. Now there is a function - recording a mission in real time. The drone's AI is now able to recognize the objects we need, that's right, identify them during automated missions. For example, when inspecting a complex engineering structure, the first flight is performed by an experienced remote pilot; at the time of the inspection, the drone remembers the flight route and the operation of the payload in order to subsequently perform this type of inspection independently.
The Matrice 300 RTK transmitter has been significantly redesigned; it is made taking into account all the requirements dictated by operating experience, a specialized application that implements two control options: manual and automatic mode, and also has the ability to work with several types of payload in real time.
Another advantage of the Matrice 300 RTK is the flexibility of its flight platform. Two payload mounting points on the bottom of the drone and one on the top allow users to choose the optimal configuration for their mission.
