OFIL DayCor® micROM HD is an innovative UV camera designed for use on unmanned aerial vehicles and gimbal mounting. The camera features unprecedented low weight and power consumption, integrates with the world's most common communications protocols, and includes electromagnetic shielding.

With built-in DayCor® technology and special filters, OFIL DayCor® micROM HD allows you to focus on corona discharge while neutralizing UV noise. GPS and temperature and humidity sensor data are included in the recording. OFIL DayCor® micROM HD is easily integrated with a set of commands that control camera functions. High-resolution images provide a detailed and clear view of distant and high-altitude power line elements and structures. OFIL DayCor® micROM HD is offered both as a sensor, perfectly integrated into a wide range of gimbals, and as a block camera mounted on a UAV with the possibility of customization for various models.

Maximum flight endurance, speed and adaptability

To maximize flight duration and speed, payload weight must be kept to a minimum. OFIL DayCor® micROM HD is an unprecedentedly lightweight, energy-efficient camera that allows long-duration flight at higher altitudes to scan power lines. The micROM HD camera is designed to easily adapt to a variety of gimbal designs.

Easy integration with your UAV

OFIL DayCor® micROM HD is controlled via a set of communication commands using interfaces such as RS232, MAVlink, S. BUS, CAN BUS and MFIO-PWM.

Maximum efficiency

OFIL DayCor® micROM HD provides real-time display of both the corona discharge itself and the fault causing it. Clear images, even while driving, are used to determine the location of damage and the severity of the problem.

A complete picture of the state of the lines

OFIL DayCor® micROM HD provides real-time streaming and high-definition video recording, providing a clear view of the items being inspected and allowing nameplates and equipment part numbers to be read for clear maintenance recommendations. Video recording can include corona event counter data, date and time, GPS data, temperature and humidity (optional). Consequently, an unprecedented combination of high resolution and detailed inspection data is provided.

Compliance with dimensions

OFIL DayCor® micROM HD is offered both as a sensor for integration into a wide range of gimbals, and as a block micro-camera. Mechanical customization for various UAV models is possible.
