DayCor® Ranger HD is a premium inspection solution with an array of optical sensors in a stabilized pan-tilt mount. Ranger offers an excellent solution for inspecting long overhead lines with long-range sharpness detection, preset inspection angles and user profiles, and HD video recording. The DayCor® Ranger features a rugged, stabilized housing, the world's most sensitive UV camera, a high-speed pan/tilt unit, a high-resolution monitor, an ergonomic remote control and an internal recorder.
The system includes additional optical sensors, as well as a temperature and humidity sensor. The stabilizing mount ensures smooth and clear recording of video clips indicating the degree of coronary discharge. Ranger is a high-performance, robust scanning system that provides accurate imaging of the corona and its emission sources.
UV INSPECTION
High sensitivity to ultraviolet radiation allows you to detect and capture remote corona while driving without blurring the output video or missing corona events.
STABILIZED MOUNTING
Designed for inspection, the system is housed in a rugged housing and mounted on a stabilized pan/tilt system that responds quickly to commands. Particular attention is paid to silent and crystal clear image transmission. Fits most roof mounts.
REMOTE CONTROL
Ergonomic design with built-in High Definition (HR) display and intuitive menu controls for both sensors and pan/tilt.
Preset saved angles automate system rotation. Additional fine tuning adds flexibility and agility

With high accuracy, excellent image quality and resistance to long-wave solar reflection, Ranger provides outstanding detection results. The system is customized to meet specific customer needs and can include alternative combinations of optical sensing technologies.
EASY TO INSTALL AND LIGHT WEIGHT
The fastenings consist of lightweight construction and composite covers. Installation is simple and standard.
VIDEO RECORDING AND DATA STORAGE
Throughout the drive, video from installed sensors is transmitted and displayed on a high-resolution monitor, and can also be recorded and stored on portable memory. Records may include radiometric readings, GPS, date and time, pressure gauge and humidity. Audio comments and annotations can also be added.
DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An optional data management system provides information about the scanned grid, such as the identity of each installation, past performance, past recorded events, failures, route, etc. Data is retrieved while driving and displayed in sync with geographic and/or topographic maps.
