Support beam cranes

A beam crane (overhead crane) is a type of crane. The very concept of "overhead crane" reflects the feature of the structural structure of the crane - the presence of a bridge. To date, an overhead crane (beam crane) is the most common lifting device for reloading, lifting and transport, installation and repair work. Depending on the design, the overhead crane (beam crane) can be suspended or supporting, single-beam or double-beam. As a lifting mechanism, an electric hoist (hoist) or an electric winch mounted on a special crane trolley is installed on an overhead crane (beam crane). The overhead crane can be operated from the cab or from the floor.

The crane-beam (single-girder overhead crane) supporting is a metal structure consisting of the main (bearing) beam connected to two end beams, on which the undercarriages are fixed. The lifting function in the crane-beam is performed by a hinged electric or manual hoist.

Support beam cranes are designed for lifting and moving along a monorail track of an I-profile of various cargoes (with the exception of acids, molten and red-hot metal, toxic substances), weighing within the rated load capacity. Beam cranes are designed for operation indoors or under a canopy at an ambient temperature of -40°С to +40°С. These beam cranes can be used in almost all areas of industry for moving light and medium intensity goods with a 3K and 5K operating mode.

Unlike overhead cranes, support beam cranes allow you to lift loads to the maximum possible height.
