PGK25 High voltage test installation - BAUR
The PGK25 device is designed for high-voltage testing of DC cables up to 25 kV, powered by batteries.High voltage portable installation PGK 25 , manufactured by BAUR (Austria ), is designed for testing cables and electrical equipment with direct current up to 25 kV. The device is lightweight and compact in size, which makes it easy for one person to transport it from site to site. For convenience, the device folds into a transport case. The PGK25 BAUR device has a built-in battery.
The main application of the PGK 25 is the testing of underground medium voltage cables with impregnated paper insulation. Due to the high sensitivity of current measurement, these devices also make it possible to determine insulation resistance up to terraohms. The devices are equipped with an automatic sealed discharge device, a timer, and a recorder designed to record current.
