SCAN-1ME Mobile cable electrical laboratory based on GAZ-2705 - GC "Energoscan"

The mobile cable electrical laboratory SCAN-1ME, based on the GAZ-2705, is designed for high-voltage testing, determining the location of damage to cable lines with voltages of 0.4-10 kV. Non-burning methods of preliminary OMP (ARC, ICM, DECAY), burning, precise OMP of cables using acoustic and induction methods, route determination, selection of cable from a bundle, search for sheath damage.

The mobile cable electrical laboratory SCAN-1ME, based on the GAZ-2705, is designed for high-voltage testing, determining the location of damage to cable lines with voltages of 0.4-10 kV.

The cable laboratory SCAN-1ME is a replacement for: ETL-10, KAEL-3, KAEL-5, Angstrem-1, LK-1, LVI HVT, PPU-1, PPU-2, SURA-1, SURA-2, transcable BAUR, PVL-10, etc.

Capabilities of the SCAN-1ME electrical laboratory:

  • Testing of power cable lines and substation equipment with alternating voltage of industrial frequency 50 Hz up to 50 kV, rectified voltage up to 70 kV.
  • Insulation resistance measurement, voltage up to 2.5 kV;
  • Preliminary location of cable damage using the following methods:
    • TDR reflectometry method;
    • Arc pulse method (ARC);
    • Current-coupled oscillatory discharge (ICE) method;
    • Voltage-coupled oscillatory discharge method (Decay);
    • Burning/afterburning of insulation;
  • Accurate location of cable line damage
    • Acoustic method;

  • Determination of the cable line route;
  • Determining the depth of the cable line;

Laboratory equipment is conventionally divided into main (mounted) and additional (non-mounted) equipment. The laboratory has a modular structure; instruments, if necessary, operate independently of each other.

Additionally, the laboratory can be supplied with:

  • High-voltage VLF installation VIU SNC-36 (or equivalent);
  • Locator kit CST-15 (or equivalent);
  • Search kit CSL-10 (or equivalent);
  • Instruments for cable diagnostics;

Counter table

The supporting structure is used to accommodate modules and blocks. It is also the operator's workplace. Stand type: Eurodesk.
